The Oley Valley Community Education Foundation celebrated the outstanding achievements of six individuals at the 23rd Annual Alumni and Service Awards Ceremony.

The Oct. 4 event in the Oley Valley High School brought together alums, community members, educators and high school students to recognize excellence in professions, volunteerism, service and humanitarian efforts, as well as service to our district.

The honorees for the Distinguished Alumni Awards were:

• Eric Clemmer, Class of 1991
• Robert Kissinger, Class of 1972
• John Noll, Jr., Class of 1996
• Denise (Cronrath) Wagner, Class of 1992

The honorees for the Distinguished Service Award were:

• Robert Heckman
• Dawn (Levengood) Roman, Class of 1987

The program was part of the school’s homecoming celebration and officials said was a testament to the enduring impact of graduates and community members, showcasing their accomplishments and dedication.

We will begin accepting nominations for next year's award recipients on April 1, 2025.
