Kick off the holiday season, burn off some of that Thanksgiving dinner, and have a little fun while supporting Oley Valley students!

The 15th Annual Zackon 5k Turkey Burn & 1-Mile Fun Walk takes place Saturday, November 28, 2026. This longtime Oley Valley tradition brings together runners, walkers, families, students, staff, alumni, and community members for a morning of fitness, friendly competition, and community spirit - all benefiting the Oley Valley Community Education Foundation.

Whether you're racing for a personal best, enjoying the 1-mile walk with family and friends, or simply looking for a fun way to get moving after Thanksgiving, everyone is welcome!

And this year we're turning up the fun!

🦃 Come dressed for the occasion and show off your best turkey-themed attire, gather your own flock of turkeys, and get ready for plenty of Thanksgiving-weekend fun.

🏆 Compete for the Turkey Cup! When you register, choose the Oley Valley school you're representing: Elementary School, Middle School, or High School. Students, teachers, parents, staff, alumni, and supporters can all help their school compete. The school with the most registered participants will take home the Turkey Cup and bragging rights for the year!

Every registration helps OVCEF continue its mission of providing innovative educational opportunities and experiences for students throughout the Oley Valley School District.
